Damn.

Terrible, terrible news about Bhutto. By all accounts she was a strong leader and a friend to the west, a supporter of democracy, and obviously, she was a hell of a brave lady. She knew what would likely happen- I find it heartbreaking to know that she even had sent out a message only to be released in the event she was assassinated. It’s such a terrible shame. May she rest in peace, and may her family remain safe from harm. I sincerely hope that the nation of Pakistan honors her memory and her cause by uniting against terror and extremism, and pushes out those who would see them destabilized, destroyed and chaotic.

  1. Amen. She stated that, if elected, she would nab bin Laden in 90 days. Unlikely, but I liked her tenacity.
